Sedgefield Apartments at 1136 Commons Lane, Marietta, Georgia.

Sedgefield Apartments was a very nice community when we first moved in to our two bedroom townhouse. The manager was amazing, the crime rate was low, and maintenance responded within 24 hours. Our office manager was promoted and a new manager was brought in. She didn't last very long and they replaced her with another manager. Work order request weren't being completed and roaches started infesting our unit. We moved up the hill to a 3 bedroom unit hoping the unit would be in better shape and the neighbors would be a little more family friendly. The walls are paper thin so if your neighbors smoke it's definitely coming in your unit.. Our new unit had several repair issues, mold, toliets backing up, air conditioning leaks causing wet carpet which caused more mold, water coming inside from exterior walls, and much more! We've had Cockroaches, spiders, rolly pollies, and rats in our unit. The roaches are still a issue! Minimal effort was put into fixing our issues. The maintenance staff is very friendly, but they're over worked and limited on what they have time to fix. It's always them coming to take pictures for the office manager, and nothing done about the problem for months... The leasing agent disconnected my power by accident and they did nothing to help me get it back in my name. Then the office billed me for power usage! It's horrible here! I'm always stressed out dealing with them, so unprofessional and lazy! I'm still waiting on a copy of my lease that I signed in May. Oh I must mention a gentleman was murdered catty-cornered from my unit, and my front window was shot out! The cops are always in the entryway looking for people or pulling people over.
