Quality Cleaners at 1075 Whitlock Avenue Southwest # A, Marietta, Georgia.

Recently, Quality Cleaners laundered my custom-made bed coverlet rather than dry cleaning it (ironically, there is another review with the same complaint). The item shrunk about three inches. After using this cleaners faultlessly for twenty years, this was their first serious mistake. Because I appreciated their previous work, I offered to absorb half the cost -- after all, it is a mom-and-pop establishment.
They offered to stretch the spread, which they did three times, unsuccessfully. Yet, when I told them the coverlet still didn't fit and I wanted to purchase a store-bought spread (at one third the original cost), they balked and offered me less than 10% of the initial price.
As I stated, they have done outstanding cleaning (and alterations) and I understand errors are made. However, I cannot patronize a business that does not accept responsibility for their mistakes.
