Majestic Plumbing and Electric at 1634 Atlanta Road Southeast, Marietta, Georgia.

I am very disappointed that I did not get the same treatment from Majestic Plumbing & Electric as the reviews I am reading here. Matt was the plumber that was sent to do a simple disconnect of my kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal... as well as, only disconnecting my gas range. I was in a pinch to get this done today as my granite counters are being installed tomorrow. Matt was only there for approximately 1 hour, no materials were needed and he charged me $680 to disconnect the above mentioned items. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a woman and I was in a pinch to get this done before tomorrow morning. After speaking with other contractors... I was repeatedly told, "I'm so sorry. It looks like he screwed you over."
It is not right that a single mother can not rely on a professional business to not take advantage of her. I am so upset that I went along with the payment. However, I have canceled them to come back for the reconnect after the granite is put in, as he has quoted $670 to reconnect.. for a grand total of $1350 to provide no more than a couple of hours of work and no parts.. I have since been quoted by two other plumbers to do this work for no more than $200.
